- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I wouldn't even give it the one star but I have to in order to review. My daughters dog unfortunately was a Houdini and escape artist and was picked up by the pound. After picking him up from the pound the first time we noticed he had what appeared to be kennel cough. After around 3 more weeks he escaped through a cracked window and jimmied it open. Well when we picked him up this time he was incoherent, unfocused, and no visual or mental stimulation and began having severe seizures. The vet said they were pretty sure he contracted distemper while in the pound. We are all heartbroken and there was just too much neurological damage and we had to put our beloved Redman down. Please check and fix this issue before more people have to go through what our family has had to go through. Our dog may have gotten loose, and he was just smarter than most dogs. But this is inexcusable to let happen when you hold the lives of these animals in your hands.By Marissa Darnell, November 07, 2016
